The Slovenian Diabetes Association connects 40 societies from all over Slovenia, with more than 18,000 members. The profession rightly assessed that without an active society, with the increasing number of diabetics, it would not be possible to raise awareness and knowledge of the dangerous and serious consequences of this disease.
